Seattle-SanFran (Part 1)

Matt had an office trip he needed to make to Seattle - so having never ventured to that corner of the country I decided to tag along...visit Shelf-the-Elf and hit a Giants V Dbacks game on the way home (in Giant country).  Of course the Mariners happened to be also playing so we stopped in for a fun game.

Shelly and I found much joy observing Matt in his "wood" obsession.  Little did we know that his brother had visited a month before and also found joy in the "wood".

Of course we hit Pikes Place Market...one word - get your rear ends out of bed - it will be worth it...NO LINES...NO PEOPLE (unless you adore mass amounts of people crammed together on the sidewalk - then sleep in and hit the place around 10:30-11:00am) 

Once again if you get there early morning...there is no wait for these world famous maCARons (not to be confused with a macaROON)

Matt had to test out the piroshkys'  to see if they were legit Russian - they were.  (We went back the next morning to do this since the line was about 40minutes long)

This gave me an idea....

We also took a little (MASSIVE since we went the wrong way) drive to Mr. Rainier.  It was incredibly gorgeous. 

And ate RAINIER cherries on Mt. Rainier...okay so that's not where they get their name from BUT...it still made me smile.

And crazy toboggan roads to drive (when you enter the WRONG way to the park).

Matt's meeting was in Gig Harbor...incredibly quaint and gorgeous!

Those from Arizona understand a photo with JUST trees....

Saw this on our last day...it was "Alley Art"...they had the coolest alley's lined with random works of art.
