Back to School...Back to School...

We had a mildly successful "back-to-school" day.  We started off the night before reviewing our "Banish the beatings with better back2school behavior"...it went off with a "bang".  We took our photos - I actually used my camera instead of my phone...I had a wonderful treat of ice cream waiting for the kids (and they didn't even have to shove spinach in their mouths to get it this time)...and I sat down to process my images and they went "poof" in a big techno-cloud...so I'm stuck with the remnants of my photo log (should've just used my dumb phone.)

Normally I wouldn't post such a gem photo...but like I said...we're stuck with remnants...

 Insert cute photo of Ella still sleeping...she slept till 9:45am.  No - summer did not wear her out...

Since I have no cute photo of my cute ice cream bowls...you're left with one from the previous day...Ella earning her ice cream!

Harper - L.A. Newborn Photo Session

Our little "Hen".  Harper Elza Noble.  (The Elza comes from her great grandfather - so don't be callin her "elsa").  I prefer "Hen", it fits her.  She is perfect in every way.  

Why is it that all sessions in L.A. are happenin'?  Is it the location? the salty air? the people? The vintage vibe they have goin on always seems to work well with my camera.  I could've sat and hung out with these three all day...but since this babe was a whole 5 days old I figured her parents were tired so I tried to be quick.  

I snuck a little gem in this one above - upper corner...my sister-in-law has wonderful taste in artwork...

 Kinda strange seeing a little brother with a baby all his own.  Hen is the first of 3 to be born this summer - Court plopped the Noble name down on his progeny a whole month before his older brother gets to do the same... I'm just thrilled that we finally have another generation of Noble's to grace this earth.

Duranga-tangs

We had the BEST summer trip - playing all week long in Durango.  Our buddies left us behind in Prescott....but we managed to follow them to Colorado and pretend that we were also "durangatangs" too... 
We of course couldn't pass up the chance to take some pictures along the gorgeous Animas River as well as some fun downtown happenin' spots.

Jacob and Indy started in kindergarten together....we love to laugh about that first year with those little boys...

They thought I was crazy...but I loved making them run back and forth on this bridge!!

So. Much. Fun.  Already missing them - again.
I must return...swiftly!
