Step up 2 - The Streets.

Matt walked in the first time and tried to make fun of me...but then stopped to watch it...then sat down and finished watching it with me. Then he got up the next morning and told Indy he had to watch the moves the people were busting!

I've watched the first Step Up and Stomp the Yard (hey this is a confession here--I'm okay with laying it all out :) ...they don't even come close in comparison...the dance moves are totally wicked!

(My favorite is Moose's dance on the stairs and of course the rain dance at the end...)

The obsession begins.

...or at least I hope it does.

A package arrived from Gpa Wade yesterday (while he happened to be talking on the phone to me.) In the package was a very nice letter encouraging Indy to read the first book in the Hardy boys series, and then encouraging him to email him when he was finished (with subtle hints that his mother should get him his own email address :)

So...Indy went in and has crossed off the first 3 chapters. I think I was reading "Miss Piggle Wiggle" at this age...man I loved those books!

Fall is in the air!

Get your coats and scarves out and get ready for some fall colors!!

Their little guy was the happiest baby EVER! I finally said, "let's try to get one where he isn't smiling"....didn't happen :)

An American Classic.

This was THE most peaceful session I've ever done. We even managed to find some fall colors in September AND its probably the first time in a session that a brother and sister have been able to sit next to eachother and STILL be happy!

Thought you'd enjoy some "finished" products. There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING better, than walking into a house and seeing my work on the walls. I get a little sad when my images sit, waiting to be hung.... :(

*On a separate note--my mother and I took lunch to the kids at school today. It was actually really fun. We sat and ate with them and talked to all of their friends (who ALL seemed unusually STARVED for attention!) I felt like I was sitting with Indy and his fraternity brothers at the table. In order to get them to eat their food I started timing them. Pretty soon...everyone wanted to be timed as they shoved broccoli, cheese nips, apples and even chugged their milk! Pretty funny...especially when they were quizzing me on my multiplication (what's a 100x100???) and I knew the answers...they were like "Dang!! she's good". But the best comment was by Indy as we were cleaning up. He bent over and smelled his friends breath (who had been eating a sucker) and was like "Man!!! You have the best smelling breath EVER! 2nd grade boys...always good for a laugh.

Well-Documented.

This family ranks as one of my top-documented families of all time :) They've been with me for a long long time and their oldest boy is soooo good for me! I love shooting Ade & Matt 'cause they just sell it for the camera :) (I actually try to "channel Ade" whenever I find myself in front of the camera ;)
