11 & 3 & crazy cousin week

Birthdays from a month and a half ago...

Indy's birthday (11) was my favorite - probably because it was a random crazy last minute spastic idea, that made my husband pause with doubt (and made me want to do it even more).

Indy loved his cards :) Thank you to all who think of him (and all my kids on their "day".

We then headed up to Williams for one of many All-Star games (driving up and back every night was sure fun!! :( But a cheeseburger and a milkshake on Route 66 helped the birthday boy out.
Grandpa Wade always brings the good stuff

Long nights all the ball field are what summer is all about (at least that's what Matt and Indy tell us) and I'm so bugged my brother-in-law Jon found his blanket in my car and stole it back from me.
Ella's birthday (3) was the next day - we had some purple cupcakes and she clapped as we helped her get on her "too big" bike.
Getting yourself dressed for the pool may result in backward swimsuits which may make your mother laugh out loud...
Cheer Camp happened that week - life was crazy but fun.  Laina, Ellie and Eiley loved it...(Ella in the background was trying so hard to do "cheerleader")

We had fake blood :)
And real blood (14 stitches on the shin - we love Dr. Hinton!)
Out of the crazy week we had only 3 survivors.  Matt bailed to a conference and during that time we had barfing, gym wrecks and running wrecks (some at the same time).  Needless to say it was a summer week to remember!!
KIDNAP.  From bed.  6:45am.  We're talking the charge the room, throw the pillow case over the head, tie the arms behind the back and haul him to the car.  Drove up to the water tank.  Let him out and had donuts and juice and opened cards.  He loved every minute of it - including our fake, military-low shouting voices.  Then we tried our hand at geocaching.  We went 1 for 3.  Oh well.  We had fun.
