SanFran-Seattle (part 2)

On our way home we made a -less-than-24-hr-pit-stop- in SanFran.

In addition to taking wonderfully dorky photos with the GG bridge in the background and the chain-link fence on the side - we "BIKED THE BRIDGE". It was the best thing to do in SanFran.
A little side note on biking the bridge - I still can not figure out why the "roadies" feel the need to ALSO bike the bridge at alarming speeds when they know that there are dorky tourists on rental bikes with plastic backpacks and 20# camera gear biking the bridge and choosing to stop and take photos.  I'm sure there are probably a BAjillion other bike routes they could ride on a weekend that are less crowded...just my own little "side note".
After completing the trek out to the Redwoods (MUIR Woods) because Matt needed to see the giant Redwoods so he could cross it off his bucket list - we sped back to make it to the Ferry...and I mean SPED.  It was an all out race, complete with winding through a Memorial Day parade 5 minutes before it began.
We didn't have time for the Alcatraz tour (remember less-than-24-hrs) but I was able to purchase some killer United States Penitentiary Signs for my children complete with wonderful "Regulations".
Saw Ghiraradelli square and the 1 hour line for a sundae - no thanks.

Went for mass quantities of taffy instead...and some Boudin dinning.
Thought of our buddies.
Made fun of Matt and his pack.
Made it to the "Queen Mother" of ballparks.  Seriously.  I will return every year for their $6 carmel corn (ok when you factor in the price of the flight it's probably a little more than $6...)  The gourmet food at this ballpark was over the top.

Forget waiting in line at the square - turns out I got my hot fudge sundae right at the park...heh...heh..
No one caught any balls - but it was so fun to watch everyone in their boats enjoying the day and grilling up their own burgers...brings a whole new meaning to "tailgating"...what would you call that "tailboarding" or "tail boating"??
