Fifty Fabulous Fun Frolicking YEARS

It is quite the achievement in this day and age to be able to celebrate 50 years together.  Matt's mom and dad rang it in this year and we were there to celebrate with them.

Kate did a wonderful job of organizing and bringing some wonderful mementos of the occasion.  Lynda made her own wedding dress - she's a very talented seamstress - and we enjoyed the stories they told of their engagement and actual wedding day - complete with Grant driving through the night to California and being pulled over by an officer ;)

We went around the room and all of the kids gave their earliest and/or favorite memory of their parents.  It truly was a wonderful evening.

Mike read a wonderful letter to his parents - it gave voice to how we all feel about their examples and the life they have created.

FREEZE FRAME - what would a Holdsworth gathering be without an attack on the  older boys? Grantos was MIA so Micky had to take it all by himself...
